Tianjin Lingang Chemical New Materials Ecological Residual Leaves Base. The projects include: 1. 200,000+200,000 tons/year of silicone (Sino-French joint venture); 2. 10,000+100,000 tons/year of fumed silica; 3. 10,000+100,000 tons/year of PC (polycarbonate); 4. 100,000+100,000 tons/year of MDI (diphenylmethane diisocyanate); 5. 120,000+120,000 tons/year of caustic soda; 6. 140,000 tons/year of methionine; 7. 350,000 tons/year of phenol and propylene; 8. 130,000 tons/year of acrylonitrile; 9. 150,000 tons/year of bisphenol A along with related production facilities; 10. A DCC(CPP) complex capable of processing 3.5 million tons/year of heavy oil (with 1.8 wt% sulfur). The annual production requires 190,000 tons of silicon blocks, 3.5 million tons of heavy oil, 300,000 tons of industrial salt, 150,000 tons of aniline, 100,000 tons of sulfuric acid, 30 million tons of water, as well as large amounts of electricity and industrial steam. The production process is carefully designed and integrated, without considering source control or the economical utilization of the SCl atoms.
I don’t understand what the original poster means! As basic chemicals, S and Cl will certainly be considered for full utilization. Especially for large projects like this, if recycling is not carried out, the environmental impact assessment will definitely not be approved.
