As the title suggests? GB150 does not specify any requirements in this regard; so how should it be verified if there are no folds?
If it’s a pressure vessel, unless you have the capability to use finite element analysis, then there’s no problem – of course it can be used.
If you design it according to GB150, it won’t work, unless you use finite element analysis for the design
