Our company needs to carry out water intermodal transport in the near future, and many parameters during this process differ from those in normal production. I would like to ask the experts: is it possible to use HYSYS to simulate the entire water heat transfer process and calculate the material and heat balances? Thank you in advance.
It’s absolutely impossible; the original poster doesn’t understand the concept. Software simulation serves to approximate the actual production process as closely as possible. Water testing is carried out before starting production, in order to check the equipment installation and identify any issues with the system. The basic concepts of the two are completely different
Hydraulic flushing is simple; its purpose is 1. to further flush and clear the pipelines and equipment, ensuring that they are unobstructed, clean, and airtight. 2. Further examine the engineering quality, technical performance, and operational reliability of the equipment. Check the integrity of the system when filled with water, verify that there are no leaks in the valves and flanges, and ensure the continuity of the process flow. 3. Check the stability and sensitivity of the raw materials and the instruments in the distillation system (including control valves). 4. Conduct operation simulations and accident drills using water instead of oil, so as to help operators become familiar with and master the operational techniques and improve their skill level. You can refer to the operation of similar devices in other units!
