When performing dimensioning, I found that the numbers automatically assigned were not those I wanted. How can I modify them?
It’s simple – just select that dimension label. Then enter “ed” to make the change; after making the change, press the DEL key to delete the original size.
In addition to what was mentioned above, there are also the following methods: dispersing the annotations and modifying the annotation text. Open the properties dialog box — select Annotation — find the Text Replacement field in the properties dialog box — enter the desired numbers or characters. Use the ’Edit Annotation Text’ shortcut button (the button looks like an annotation with an A) to modify the annotation text
It’s probably because the ratio you set is incorrect. One solution is to reset it or choose an appropriate ratio, while another option is to modify the text. Enter “ed” and press Enter to make the change.
I fully agree with the answer from the 4th floor (it’s a shame there are no points to award today :P). I’ll just add a brief clarification here: if the original poster didn’t draw things in proportion, it’s also possible to type “T” followed by the text you want when making the annotations.
It can be modified using the ed command. However, it is not recommended. Please draw accurately according to the exact proportions.
I completely agree; it’s much easier to set the annotation styles first and then create the annotations, rather than trying to make changes after everything has already been done. This is called sharpening the axe so it can cut wood better! Or rather: find toilet paper and the toilet before going to the bathroom. Otherwise, it’s easy to pull it out, but troublesome to handle.
Use the “mo” command to open the properties dialog, select this dimension, and then modify the corresponding dimension value in the dialog.
To build on what was said above, double-click the annotation that needs to be modified to open the “Properties” dialog box.
It’s best not to break up the annotations; just use the text editing command to make the changes.

There are so many methods like this; I only knew two of them. It’s really enlightening.
It’s better to set the formatting and annotation styles by yourself; it’s advisable to develop good drawing habits. It might take a while at first, but with more practice over time, the drawing speed will increase rapidly
Click on the property panel of the dimension line to view the actual text to be displayed, and then enter the content you want directly.
