Has anyone ever implemented a process in which the exhaust gas from the two-stage absorber used for sulfuric acid production is first treated with a fiber mist eliminator and then treated with liquid alkali (sodium hydroxide or sodium bicarbonate)? What are the specific design parameters and removal efficiency in such a system?
Our exhaust gas is treated using a mixed solution of sodium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide in the secondary absorption tower, achieving an absorption efficiency of 99%.
