My reducer has a lot of noise coming from the gearbox area; even after replacing the bearings, it wouldn’t operate properly for more than 24 hours before the bearings failed again. I had to replace the bearings six times in total, and ultimately I had no choice but to replace the entire reducer in order for it to work properly. Please analyze the reasons.

How is the gear meshing? Is the coupling coaxial? There are also lubrication issues.
The bearings in reducers are generally ball bearings, which mainly bear radial forces and can handle only a small amount of axial force. The frequent damage to your bearings is likely due to a large axial load acting on them; consider this reason along with the actual conditions of your reducer. I think the possibility of Zhou bending is relatively high

The bearings used in my shaft feature tapered roller bearings at the areas subject to axial forces, and ball bearings at the areas subject to radial forces; the bearings seem to be used correctly.

The bearings have been replaced multiple times yet still failed; if it’s not the same product of poor quality, the issue can be ruled out as being related to the bearings ; Multiple occurrences can also rule out factors such as lubrication and maintenance. Possible reasons: 1. The deviation in the position of the bearing holes in the gearbox housing is significant, resulting in abnormal gear meshing and root cutting; this generates loud noises and can damage the bearings ; 2. How is the performance of the reducer after it has been replaced? Is the oil temperature too high when the reducer is in operation after the bearings have been replaced?
