The biggest difference lies in their actuation mechanisms; some small factories lack instrument air and therefore often use electric valves as a substitute for pneumatic ones. The main difference between the two lies in their operating speed: pneumatic valves are faster than electric valves, which respond more slowly. In situations where conditions change frequently, caution should be exercised when using electric valves.
