The setup of the pier can be divided into two types: First: there is only one railway track on the platform side. This setup takes up more space and is suitable for the loading and unloading of materials with special requirements. Second: There are tracks on both sides of the platform, which means operations can be carried out on either side. Pipelines are installed on both sides of the platform, allowing for what you refer to as simultaneous loading and unloading on both sides.
