When using DSTWU for design simulations in Aspen, can textbook-style graphs be generated? It is the graph showing the number of theoretical plates and the position of the feed plate, which is determined on the Y-X phase diagram by using the step method to cross the operating line. Today I saw that a certain document mentioned this feature, but I’m using version 11.1, which is different from it. I searched for a long time yet still don’t know where to create this graph; it seems unreasonable. Please, those who know the answer, reply. Thank you!
I’ve never heard of anything that can create such graphs. Moreover, this method is only a last resort when calculating the number of theoretical plates and the location of the feed plate by hand; now that these two values can be obtained through software, why use such a diagram?
