Which is better, helium mass spectrometry leak detection or ammonia permeation?

As indicated in the title, it should be considered from the following aspects: 1. Cost-effectiveness (including procurement and use), 2. Reliability, 3. Operability
Helium mass spectrometry leak detection might be a bit more expensive, but it has higher sensitivity
Helium leak detection requires a helium mass spectrometer and bottled helium; sometimes a vacuum pump is also needed for the vacuum method, making it expensive； But its sensitivity is at least one order of magnitude higher than that of ammonia leak detection ； Ammonia leak detection requires the use of ammonia gas and test strips; when disposal is carried out, irritating ammonia gases are released, contaminating the environment and being harmful to human health, though it’s not that serious. It is easy to operate and has a low cost, but its sensitivity is also low. However, it has higher sensitivity than a simple airtightness test
Generally, if there are no very strict requirements, ammonia penetration testing is sufficient; it depends on the specific requirements
How is the concentration of ammonia that can permeate measured, and how is it controlled?
