Ladies and gentlemen, when our company’s reverse osmosis systems are operating continuously, there are sudden changes in pressure from one point to the next, and a similar situation occurs with the water production volume. Can blockages occur suddenly during operation?

I guess there must have been some significant physical damage or some physical action that occurred; the pressure change in the reverse osmosis membrane elements is continuous, and it’s rare for there to be sudden changes, especially a sudden increase in operating pressure
A similar situation occurred with our company’s reverse osmosis system as well; it seems that the reverse osmosis membrane was clogged. It is recommended to clean it, and then investigate the cause at the pretreatment stage.
It’s probably blocked; it’s recommended to clean it right away. Due to the pretreatment system and safety filter in front, physical damage is unlikely.
There shouldn’t be any sudden changes in pressure during operation; is it within the first few minutes after startup? Has the membrane device been subjected to a pressure shock? This caused leakage at the membrane connectors. Another likely cause is excessive changes in the water level of the upstream tank (usually those tall tanks located on the ground), which lead to sudden changes in pressure within the pretreatment system. This, in turn, causes changes in pressure in the RO system as well as variations in the water flow rate. You can pay attention to whether the pressure of the pretreatment system changes when there is a sudden change in pressure, as well as whether the water level in the raw water tank changes sharply.
