Can the flanges used on boilers be those specified by the Ministry of Chemical Industry? Are there any regulations regarding this?

For selecting specific standards and models, reference can be made to the industry standards set by the Ministry of Chemical Industry: HG 20592~20635-97. It should be noted that the choice of flange material depends on the temperature range it is intended to operate in. It can be the same as the material of the pipe being welded. Generally, for flanges used in medium-pressure steam (3.8 MPa) pipelines, 15CrMo can be chosen as the material, while for flanges used in high-pressure steam pipelines, 12CrMoV can be used. Of course, all high-pressure pipelines are welded.
