From the workstation perspective, if there is a leak, the baseline drifts. Just replace the gasket at the injection port; it’s likely that too many injections have been made, causing leaks

The most typical symptom is a decrease in the peak height compared to before, and replacing the gasket will solve the problem
What was said above is quite good; to add one more thing, if there is severe air leakage, it can be felt at the injection port, and a sound will also be heard – in that case, simply replace the gasket.
The direct consequence of air leakage during import is lower analysis results. Check whether the air cushions at each interface are in good condition, and then perform a leak test using soapy water after passing the carrier gas.
It can be heard; moreover, almost no peak appears after another injection. If the two injections are made close to each other and the peak from the second injection is significantly smaller, it is likely due to air leakage.
