Long-term shutdown for maintenance of the ultrafiltration unit?

What material is it? Is it a dry film or a wet film?

1. If the device needs to be shut down, and the components are to be out of use for a short period (2–3 days), they can be operated for 30–60 minutes per day to prevent bacterial contamination. 2. If the component is not in use for an extended period (7 days or more), perform a manual air injection backwash on the ultrafiltration unit before shutting it down ； And inject a protective solution (1% sodium bisulfite solution) into the device, closing all the inlet and outlet valves of the ultrafiltration unit. Check the pH value of the protective solution once a month; if the pH is ≤3, the protective solution should be replaced promptly. 3. When restarting operation after a long period of shutdown, the ultrafiltration unit should be continuously flushed until the effluent water is free of foam. 4. During shutdown, the ultrafiltration membrane must be kept wet from start to finish; if it dries out due to dehydration, it will cause irreversible damage to the membrane module.

What the original poster said is correct; if it’s a dry film, it’s best to soak it in 60% alcohol before driving, which will yield better results
