Our factory has a starch warehouse with dimensions of 96m*37m, resulting in an area of 3552㎡. There are 6 outdoor fire hydrants (part of the fire suppression system). Is it still necessary to have fire extinguishers as well? How much is needed if required?
According to the regulations, starch warehouses are classified as Category A fires, representing a moderate level of risk; therefore, fire extinguishing equipment is required, with 5 units being sufficient.

As stipulated in the \"Code for Design of Fire Extinguisher Installation in Buildings\" (GB50140-2005), fire extinguishers must be installed in pairs; it is not allowed to have 5 of them!
6.1.1 The number of fire extinguishers installed in one computing unit shall not be less than 2. 6.1.2 The number of fire extinguishers at each setting point should not exceed 5. Where did it say it needs to be configured in pairs?
