“Why can’t the “full-text search” function be used?

In order to technically summarize and categorize the posts within the section under our responsibility, thereby facilitating communication and learning among all netizens. However, when using the forum’s “search” function, it was found that the “full-text search” option in the search methods did not work. May I ask the leaders, are there any permission requirements for using this feature? If not, why would it be unusable? To make this feature available (it is understood that it is available for some users), how can this problem be solved? Is it necessary to have a cleaner step in to resolve this? Hehe, it’s an old problem. Only the Super Editions created by Master HaiChuan and Doctor HaiChuan allow full-text search; even moderators cannot do that.

This can only be set by the cleaner in the backend; you don’t have this permission, which means it hasn’t been set yet. If necessary, you can discuss it with the cleaner (send them a text message):P

I think we should relax the restrictions a bit first; for example, grant these permissions to superusers, moderators, and university members – that would be quite reasonable!

I wondered why, when searching for posts, I could only find the original posts and not the replies; now I understand why. ——From a management perspective, the search function is very important. When dealing with a member who posts excessively, we shouldn’t take drastic action based on just one post; instead, we should consider this person’s overall posting style to determine whether the mistake was intentional or accidental. If our moderators can’t even find their reply posts, then how can they assign scores? By intuition, by personal preferences?
There’s no need to relax any further; moderators should make sure to include the key words from the post content in the title, and then all problems will be solved!
