How are the dimensions of a circular tank expressed? How is the size of a solution storage tank indicated? 10m3, thank you all for your advice
The storage tank’s volume is known; first, the diameter of the tank is selected based on the series of nominal diameters, and then the height (or length for horizontal tanks) is determined. Generally, the height-to-diameter ratio ranges from 2 to 4. For a 10m3 tank, an inner diameter of 1.6m is selected for the tank vessel; elliptical end caps are used at the top and bottom. The height of the tank vessel is 5.19m, giving a height-to-diameter ratio of 3.24. The size of the storage tank is indicated in this way.
