Recently, the \"3052\" project at Yankuang Lunan Fertilizer Plant – a new type of 4-nozzle opposed water-coal slurry pressurized gasification unit capable of processing 1,150 tons of coal per day – achieved successful commissioning with its first feed operation. This marks a significant breakthrough in the application of domestic control systems in the large-scale coal chemical industry; for the first time, a large-scale continuous pressurized coal gasification unit in China has utilized a domestically developed DCS system to achieve full-automatic control across the entire process. It is understood that continuous pressurized gasification units possess high-risk characteristics such as flammability and explosiveness, as well as high temperatures (1350°C) and high pressures (4 MPa), which place extremely high demands on the reliability and stability of the DCS control system used for monitoring. This device is currently the only advanced continuous coal gasification unit in China that possesses independent intellectual property rights and the capability for industrialization. It is fully capable of competing with international advanced continuous coal gasification units such as the Texaco slurry coal gasifier and the Shell pressurized fluidized bed coal gasifier. As the core unit for the localization of large-scale coal chemical equipment in China, its successful operation has broken the monopoly held by foreign control systems. Previously, the 300,000-ton per year ammonia synthesis plant and the 520,000-ton per year urea plant under the \"3052\" project, which utilize the ECS-100 control system manufactured by Zhejiang Zhongkong Technology Co., Ltd., were put into operation successively in the second half of last year and the first half of this year.
