But regardless of whether the trace amount of n-butane is first converted into propane and then burned, or whether it is burned directly (meaning it is not converted into propane first), the simulation results are equivalent (the same, equivalent).
The last sentence can be translated as: In terms of simulation results, are equivalent.
as far as ... is concerned or as long as ... is concerned means just. . . In terms of
is equivalent as far as the computational result is concerned.
