Will there be issues of incompatibility when using it on various engines? Are there any reports and results on the trial use of coal-derived oil products? There is probably some difference, but it shouldn’t be a big issue. I think the main problem is that the octane rating of gasoline and the cetane rating of diesel may not meet the required standards; as for other parameters, I believe there won’t be much difference after hydrogenation.

In coal-to-oil plants, aside from the differences in coal liquefaction units compared to conventional oil refineries, the other units are similar to those in oil refineries. The products produced must pass inspections in accordance with **standards before they can be released for sale; therefore, there is not much difference between these products and those from traditional refining companies, with only minor differences that do not affect the performance of the products.
The liquefied crude oil produced by the direct coal liquefaction process retains some of the properties of the coal used as raw material for liquefaction; it has a high aromatic content, high levels of nitrogen and oxygen heteroatoms, and poor color and storage stability. To achieve a quality similar to that of petroleum products, upgrading processing is necessary.
