It is the flue gas emitted after combustion (untreated).
The theoretical composition of flue gas is CO2, SO2, N2, and H2O. Actual flue gas usually contains excess O2. During the operation of boilers, incomplete combustion products (such as CO, H2, CmHn, etc.) are often present in the flue gas. The composition of flue gas varies depending on the type of coal, excess air coefficient, boiler efficiency, operating conditions, etc. The specific values must be determined by using a flue gas analyzer for a particular boiler, given type of coal, and under defined operating conditions. The level of the theoretical combustion temperature is influenced by factors such as the calorific value of the fuel, the heat capacity of the combustion products, the amount of combustion products, the temperatures of the fuel and air, and the excess air coefficient.
