Our catalyst tank gauge is to turn off all the wind on the tank, including the fluidizing wind at the bottom of the tank, and then put the gauge tool inside after the pressure in the tank is relieved. This work depends on feeling. But when you feel that the catalyst is detected, wait for a while, then lift the ruler and put it down. When you really feel that the catalyst is detected and the reading is completed, the gauge work is completed! !
We can check the ruler after the tank is depressurized, but the bottom of the tank should not be too loose and windy, just normal. The ruler can be detected by feeling when it encounters foreign objects. Just check it back and forth a few times. It is generally more accurate. In addition, the head of our ruler is a round iron piece with a diameter of about 8 cm and a thickness of 0.5 cm. Therefore, the wind does not need to stop if the bottom of the tank is loose.

The key is to fasten a large screw to one end of the measuring tape, then fix a large round iron piece on the screw, and use the screw to drive the ruler down. The round iron piece has a certain resistance. When the screw touches the catalyst, you can feel it clearly, and it is generally quite accurate.
The main reason is that the bottom of the catalyst tank is a cone, and unloading materials will also make the catalyst surface into a cone. Therefore, the measuring ruler method is not very accurate, but it can be used as a reference in the long run.
