Can COS and water react completely in an activated alumina bed at room temperature? Is the reaction speed fast?
It depends on the characteristics and adsorption curve of the adsorbent catalyst you choose. Our factory uses BASF's design, so the effect is very good, but one important point is: if the COS or moisture content at the feed end is high, the design of a highly active alumina bed may not work.
