Evaluation: (1) 1.5 LL indicates that the material is not suitable, as corrosion is severe. According to available information, for benzoic acid, the better materials are 302 or 304 stainless steel ； 316 stainless steel ； Stainless steel #20, 416 stainless steel ； 440C stainless steel ； For 17-4OPH stainless steel, their evaluations are all A, which is excellent. You can choose one of the various steel grades listed above based on the actual circumstances.
If it contains water, 316L is not suitable; 317L or 904L, or even TA2, would be appropriate. For example, when distilling benzoic acid, the water content is only at the PPM level; we used 316L material, but it corroded after just 4 months of use ；
