Filling, Use and Management of Ammonia Bottles Article 62 Ammonia bottles must be inspected by a dedicated person before filling. Article 63 The following regulations must be observed when filling ammonia bottles: (1) The filling coefficient of ammonia bottles shall not be greater than 0.53 kg/L. Overfilling is strictly prohibited. The filling weight re-inspection system shall be strictly implemented. Article 64 Ammonia bottles must be submitted to the inspection unit designated by the local labor department for technical inspection every three years. After passing the inspection, they will be stamped by the inspection unit before they can be used. Article 65 Ammonia bottles must comply with the following regulations when using them: (1) No knocking or collision ; (2) When the bottle valve is frozen, do not bake it with fire ; (3) Do not stay close to heat sources, and the distance from open flames should not be less than 10 meters ; (4) Do not use electromagnetic cranes for transportation ; (5) Avoid sun exposure in summer ; (6) The gas in the bottle cannot be exhausted and there must be residual pressure. Article 66 The transportation of ammonia bottles must comply with the following regulations: (1) Tighten bottle caps, load and unload lightly, and do not throw, slide or hit them. ; (2) Ammonia bottles should be properly fixed on the vehicle. When transported by vehicle, they should be arranged horizontally and in the same direction. The loading height should not exceed the side of the vehicle. ; (3) Shade facilities should be provided in summer to prevent exposure to the sun ; (4) Fireworks are prohibited on the vehicle and no one is allowed to sit on the vehicle. Ammonia prevention equipment should be provided on the vehicle. ; (5) It is strictly prohibited to transport oxygen bottles, chlorine bottles, etc. and flammable and explosive items in the same vehicle. Article 67 Storage of ammonia bottles must comply with the following requirements: (1) Tighten the bottle caps, place them neatly, secure them properly, and leave a passage. Ammonia bottles should be placed with their heads facing one side to prevent them from rolling. They should not be stacked more than five layers. Bottle caps, anti-shock rings and other accessories must be intact. ; (2) Ammonia bottles are strictly prohibited from being stored in the same room as oxygen bottles and chlorine bottles to avoid causing combustion and explosion. Rescue and fire-extinguishing equipment must be provided nearby. ; (3) The warehouse for storing ammonia bottles must be 25 meters away from the factory and 50 meters away from residential and public buildings. There should be no open flames or other heating equipment in the warehouse. The building of the ammonia bottle warehouse should comply with the relevant provisions of the "Code for Fire Protection Design of Buildings" ; (4) It is prohibited to store ammonia bottles containing ammonia in machines and equipment rooms. Ammonia bottles temporarily stored outdoors should also be kept away from heat sources and protected from sunlight.
