Find suitable applications for O-rings made of various materials

In my work, I often come across various types of O-rings, and the material used depends on the type of medium. I know that fluororubber is used for media that are corrosive; but what materials should be used for oils, alkalis, high temperatures, and low temperatures? ?
Oil-resistant fluororubbers and silicone rubbers are the best; butyronitrile rubber and butyl rubber come next. Alkali-resistant polytetrafluoroethylene and styrene-butadiene rubber are the best, while butyl rubber is slightly inferior. Silicon and fluororubbers that can withstand high temperatures are both good options. Those that can withstand low temperatures are also fine, but polytetrafluoroethylene remains the best choice. This is basic knowledge for those working with chemical equipment, and one needs to use these materials frequently to become proficient in their use. A small hardware manual should be available too.
