In PVC production, cost accounting is conducted separately for the calcium carbide method and the ethylene method. The simplest calculation methods are as follows: Calcium carbide method: 1.45 * unit price of calcium carbide + 0.76 * unit price of chlorine + 1750. Ethylene method: 0.485 * unit price of ethylene + 0.65 * unit price of chlorine + 1500. These values are for reference only and may not be entirely accurate
The ethylene consumption of 0.485 is too high; it is usually between 0.465 and 0.47. Additionally, the market price includes 17% value-added tax
You can calculate the production cost based on your unit’s actual consumption quota, management costs, and taxes
