I have a question regarding lined pipes: manufacturers may have specific requirements regarding the length of these pipes; it’s not acceptable if the length of shorter pipes is too great. I’m not sure where this rule comes from
Information on lined pipes can be obtained from various manufacturers. I have worked on some lined pipes before; the standard length for such pipes is 6.5, 4.3, 2.1 meters. For non-standard lengths, you need to specify the desired length before asking the manufacturer to produce them.
It is recommended that you refer to the Ministry of Electric Power standard \"DL/T 935–2005 Steel-Plastic Composite Pipes and Fittings\" (using Series II pipes as the base material) and the Ministry of Chemical Industry standard \"HG 20538-92 Plastic-Lined (PP, PE, PVC) Steel Pipes and Fittings\" (using Series I pipes as the base material). Generally, the standard length of plastic-lined pipes below DN65 is 4 meters, while the standard length for plastic-lined pipes above DN65 is 6 meters. Of course, you can customize non-standard pipes, but their length should not exceed the standard length mentioned above! In fact, this requirement is not mandatory; it is mainly due to the limitations imposed by the lining process – lining pipes that exceed the standard length are difficult to process!
