The PE pipes I’m manufacturing now have a diameter of 6 MM, but they are quite hard; what flexibility agent should be added to make them softer?
LDPE, is it okay to add DOP?

I just want to manufacture hoses; as long as the material is LDPE, I would like to add a softener to make the tubes softer.

I think what’s needed is something that is both soft and tough; adding EVA only provides softness but not toughness. I recommend using POE, as it offers both softness and toughness. Additionally, POE has good weather resistance, which is beneficial for tube products
So how much POE should generally be added?
Adding EVA should help improve the situation; you can try the 14-2 model. However, I’m also looking for other additives that can enhance the softness of PE. Hope to get more guidance! ! ! ! :lol :lol
Adding POE and EVA should both enable plasticization; it’s just that one of them provides better plasticizing effects and better blendability.
