In the process control of polysilicon production, which process steps require flow switches? What is it used for?
Hydrogen, nitrogen, TCS, STC, and various types of cooling water, compressed air.
What is the main purpose of measuring these gases?
On the polysilicon production line, flow switches are required in the following processes: water return flow for the reduction furnace base; water return flow for the reduction furnace electrodes; oil return flow for the hot and cold oils in the adsorption column
All liquid and gas substances require flow switches to monitor and control flow rate, temperature, and volume
Flow rate is very important; otherwise, it’s impossible to determine the proper ratios. It’s also important to check whether there is enough cooling water. In principle, a flow meter is needed in every location, but it doesn’t have to be highly precise – an error within 5% is acceptable

Flow meters are also used to control the ratio of hydrogen to TCS in evaporators, and to regulate the flow rate of heat transfer oil in order to control temperature.
