Does the propylene feed metering tank require temperature control?

In the process flow diagram of a small-scale propylene polymerization evaluation setup, the propylene metering tank is equipped with a heating/cooling system. I’m not sure why it’s necessary to control the temperature of the metering tank; the setup is primarily used for bulk polymerization or multiphase polymerization in order to evaluate catalyst performance
It should be about whether the propylene feed is in liquid phase or gas phase; bulk polymerization requires a liquid phase, while multiphase polymerization needs a gas phase； Additionally, temperature control of the metering tank helps to maintain stable pressure inside the tank; room temperatures can vary between winter and summer, which may have an impact on the metering tank. If you want to reduce the pressure at the outlet in either the gas or liquid phase, just install a pressure relief valve, right?
It is recommended to control the temperature in order to maintain stable pressure inside the propylene storage tank and achieve more accurate measurement.
