It’s not a standard. There are many standards in this area; the United States has several different standards, each established by different agencies. Such as ASME, ANSI, etc.
The formulation of China’s petrochemical industry standard SH3406 was based on ANSI B16.5, with some modifications made to take into account China’s steel materials and the commonly used unit systems there. The flange standards HG20615~20635 in the chemical industry are equivalent to SH3406 as well.
