I would like to ask everyone: is there a formula for preparing high-purity hydrochloric acid using synthetic HCl and water?
How is your synthetic HCl produced? What purity do you want? Industrial concentrated hydrochloric acid generally has a concentration of around 36.5%; it cannot be higher because HCl evaporates very easily.
HCl is synthesized using a graphite furnace, absorbed by pure water, and by controlling the ratio of hydrogen chloride fed into the furnace, reagent-grade hydrochloric acid can be produced directly.
We need 30% hydrochloric acid, and its synthesis is carried out using a two-in-one synthesis furnace, which is a device commonly used in chlor-alkali plants.
Do you have any requirements regarding chloride ions?
