Who is aware of the progress of the IGCC co-generation project at Inner Mongolia Mengfa Energy Investment Company? I need it for a report recently, but I can’t find any recent updates on the website. The IGCC coal gasification cogeneration project uses local coal from Ordos as raw material, and employs advanced pressurized water-coal slurry gasification technology to produce syngas, which is then used for IGCC power generation, methanol production, and other chemical liquid products. The project is carried out in phases: Phase 1 is planned to include a methanol production line with an annual capacity of 1.2 million tons, an IGCC power generation plant with a capacity of 800 MW, and an acetic acid production facility with an annual capacity of 400,000 tons ； Phase II adds a 3 million-ton coal liquefaction project. After more than a year of investigation and evaluation by China National Coal Mongolia Development Company and the U.S. side, the two parties signed an agreement in Beijing in 2005 to jointly invest in the construction of the \"IGCC combined heat and power\" project. Recently in 2006, William Martin, president of U.S.-based CME International, and Rembrandt Nissen, manager of GE Energy’s Asia region, visited Ordos once again to conduct further discussions on the Sino-U.S.-Mongolian IGCC coal-to-energy integrated production project, expressing satisfaction with the progress made in the preliminary stages of the project.
