Which brother knows something about this project mentioned above? It was jointly developed by the Yangtze River Three Gorges Development Corporation and Shaanxi Coal and Chemical Industry Group. Also, I would like to know which design institute is involved. Thank you!

The groundbreaking ceremony for the 1 million-ton dimethyl ether project in Pucheng, Shaanxi, which is being jointly constructed by Shaanxi Coal and Chemical Industry Group Corporation and China Three Gorges Project Development Corporation, was held on October 15, 2008. The total investment in this project is 7.9 billion yuan, and it is expected to generate annual sales revenue of 4.4 billion yuan upon completion. The Pucheng 1 million-ton dimethyl ether project uses coal as raw material and clean coal gasification technology as its core, employing advanced technologies and equipment. It is designed to produce 1.5 million tons of methanol and 1 million tons of dimethyl ether per year, with a total investment of 7.9 billion yuan and a construction period of 36 months. Upon completion of the project, it is expected to generate annual sales revenue of 4.4 billion yuan and an average annual profit of 1.9 billion yuan. It was included in Weinan City’s key construction projects for 2008, as well as in Shaanxi Province’s key preliminary projects for the same year. This project is located in the Weibei Dongchen Coal Chemical Industrial Park in Pucheng.
I passed by there in October; it’s a fairly large area, and the Dongchen Power Plant is located right next to it, so it can provide power

We started this project too late (due to internal matters such as regional reorganization), so we did not receive an invitation from the owner. As far as I know, the technology transfer partner has been selected, but for various reasons, the business contract has yet to be signed. Is that the case?

Those are all matters at the policy level; they have nothing to do with business operations. They mainly focus on air separation, as that involves larger contract values. Now that Lurgi has joined forces with Air Liquide, they have access to all the necessary technologies and processes. If needed, they can bid for projects involving methanol, methanol washing, air separation, sulfur recovery, MTP, and acrylic acid. Who else besides us is capable of achieving such a high level of competence? Hehe
