Our company, which manufactures various types of valves and pumps as well as pipelines for polysilicon use, will soon commence the construction phase of its 5,000-ton/year polysilicon production facility. We are in urgent need of a large quantity of valves, pumps, and pipelines required for polysilicon production and related auxiliary facilities. We kindly ask those who are able to do so to help by recommending some companies with proven experience in this field
It’s from Qinghai, I guess... For information on this topic, you can ask the design institute for recommendations. Additionally, our company was involved in a polysilicon project not long ago, and the control valves used in that project included V-ball valves (in large quantities), cam flexure valves, as well as ordinary single-seat valves for use in cryogenic conditions and for handling very low flow rates. All of these are control valves; the manufacturers include FISHER, Metso, Tyco, Samson, and Nalco, each with its own advantages...
Disk valves have been used in the pipelines for transporting silicon powder, but wear-resistant ball valves have also been employed!
Could you please let me know which manufacturer it is? If it was designed by Chengda, then soft-sealed stainless steel ball valves are the most common type; either imported or domestic versions are acceptable. If it was made by RMT, it’s better to use imported valves. For some valves, carbon steel is required as the material, but it needs to be degreased first and treated to prevent rusting, which is quite difficult. On silicon powder pipelines, disc valves or metal-sealed ball valves can be used.
As far as I know, almost all polysilicon plants in China use Koso control valves, which offer an excellent cost-performance ratio. It would be a good opportunity to find out more. I’m not sure in which region your project is located!
Strange! Why isn’t that manufacturer from Shanghai that makes control valves advertising this time? Haha..
Haha, I guess I’ve been quite busy lately and don’t have time to surf the internet
