I was wondering if anyone makes centrifuges made entirely of stainless steel; I’ve never seen any such ones. Are they three-legged, with all components being made of stainless steel? :L
There are many professional manufacturers of centrifuges; the best one in China is likely Chongqing Jiangbei Machinery Factory, with others located in Xiangtan, Hunan, Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu, and Shanghai. If the customer wishes, stainless steel can certainly be used, but using it throughout would be a waste; only the parts that come into contact with the materials should be made of stainless steel. Our company has used stainless steel three-legged centrifuges in the past.
Whether all centrifuges need to be made of stainless steel depends on the mixture you want to separate. Components on standard devices that are prone to damage or need to be replaced frequently are considered consumables; it is not economical to use more expensive materials for such components. But if your separation system requires the use of some special metal components, then it’s the only option available!
Our unit uses the three-legged models produced by Zhangjiagang Mudan Centrifuge Factory, which come with frequency control; they perform well. If you want a model made entirely of stainless steel, you can contact the manufacturer to have it custom-made – as long as you’re willing to pay, there’s no task they can’t carry out
