Purification of acids containing organic impurities

The hydrogen bromide produced today contains certain organic impurities (p-tolylformaldehyde), which affects the sales of the product. I tried using tributyl phosphate for extraction; the color of the solution changed from a slight red to a transparent color, but the liquid tended to cling to the walls of the container, not appearing as natural as water. I’m not sure why this happens. I would like to ask experienced seniors for help – how should I get rid of these organic impurities, and what methods can be used? ? ? Can membrane separation be used? Note: The concentration of HBrde produced by our company is 48%; the concentration of p-tolylformaldehyde is unknown, but it is certainly not high, likely below 2%. Distillation in this case would be somewhat counterproductive, as there are very few impurities, and the production volume is quite large – 3-4 tons per day! Push it yourself to keep it from sinking
Ultrafiltration, nanofiltration, and reverse osmosis definitely won’t work. It is not yet known whether other membrane separation methods will work.
Could everyone give some advice? Looking forward to it
