There is oil at the outlet of the main catalytic fan; the seal on the inlet side was replaced earlier, and it is a new seal with a gap within the allowable range. I would like to know what could be the cause of this?

Our factory has encountered this issue before, and the main reason is that negative pressure at the inlet shaft seal of the main fan draws lubricating oil into the fan’s inlet.
Is it caused by a low flow rate or low pressure of the sealing gas, due to blocked pipelines or valves that are open only slightly?
First, there is a problem with the inlet seal; negative pressure at the inlet of the main fan draws lubricating oil into the cylinder, resulting in oil in the exhaust stream. Reason: Installation issue with the 1st inlet seal, which caused it ; Caused by damage to the 2 inlet seals ; It is caused by insufficient supply pressure of the sealing gas, resulting from the 3 inlet sealing gas not being turned on or the sealing gas pipeline being blocked (or leaking). Secondly, improper operation during startup and shutdown led to the lubrication oil pump running without seal air, causing the lubricating oil to enter the cylinders; as a result, oil was present at the outlet after startup.
How should it be solved? Replace the seal? Is there a better way (while saving costs)?
Add a backblast at the inlet and outlet respectively, and give it a try.
It must be oil leakage due to a poor seal. Check the oil seal of your fan’s bearings, and also see if there is any lubricating oil in the transition gaps between the bearings and the casing The leakage in the shaft seal of the casing creates negative pressure, which draws in the lubricating oil present outside; ultimately, it is still caused by a leak in the bearing seal.
I forgot to ask, which manufacturer is your home server from? Is it from Shenyang or Shaanxi? Centrifugal or axial flow?
Suggestions: 1. Reduce the lubricating oil pressure appropriately, as long as the normal lubrication of the machinery is maintained. 2. Check whether the oil return system is unobstructed; consider installing an exhaust fan on top of the oil tank without shutting down the machine. If the problem isn’t too serious, it should be solvable.
This problem has occurred with the catalytic main fan in our plant; adjusting the pressure of the sealing gas at the inlet bearings helped to some extent by disrupting the vacuum at the inlet. Currently, oil is still dripping from the vent pipe – there’s nothing we can do about it
I’ll remove the oil from the bearing box and at the inlet to see how that works
