I have two copper bars connected to each other. The joints of the two copper bars have been polished and applied with conductive paste. However, after power is turned on, the joints still heat up to over 60°C. What are the reasons for this? We sincerely hope for a solution! ! ! !
Heating may be caused by factors such as eddy currents and necessities, and should have nothing to do with the conductive paste.
The key is that the connection must be solid. Conductive paste alone is useless. Even if there is no conductive paste, as long as the connection is solid, it can be used.
When connecting the connection points, you should also pay attention to avoid oxidation at the two joints. The oxide layer will also affect the conductive effect. The conductive paste only plays an auxiliary role, mainly relying on the mutual contact of the two copper plates. The larger the contact area, the better the conductive effect.
