May I ask what material the sulfuric acid pipelines you have come into contact with are made of?
So far, there are three types of materials used for sulfuric acid pipelines that we have encountered: carbon steel, PPR, and PVC； It seems that carbon steel isn’t very good – it gets corroded and punctured frequently, probably because the quality of the material is inadequate.
In our facility, we mainly use two types of pipes: low-chromium cast iron pipes for applications with low temperatures, and 304 stainless steel pipes with anodic protection for systems with high temperatures.
I’d like to add that for the third floor, the dry suction system is the same as that on the third floor; the pipes for transporting the finished acid are made of cast iron!
Our factory uses 0Gr18Ni9 material, and there is always leakage at the weld points. What is anode protection?

It mainly refers to acid-resistant low-chromium (RTCr) cast iron pipes, which are particularly suitable for acid return pipelines; as for the section where acid is supplied, it depends on the size of the installation whether to use anodic protection or low-chromium cast iron pipes.
