Installation Steps: The installation steps for the CENTUM CS3000/CS1000 system software are as follows: 1. Install the Windows operating system. For the installation method of the operating system, please refer to Part 1 of the program documentation ZD0001-A0 or the relevant manual. If an operating system is already installed on the PC, this step can be skipped. 2. Install the Service Pack. For Console-type HIS (floor-mounted), this step can be omitted. For Windows 2000 SP1, Service Pack 1 was installed along with the Windows operating system. 3. Windows settings. This step is to run the CS3000/CS1000 systems on Windows. Set or modify virtual memory and the display screen. Add network adapter. Install the Ethernet adapter (this step can be skipped if Ethernet is not required). Install the control bus driver (this step can be skipped if a control bus is not required). Add a printer. 4. Reinstall the Service Pack. Note: This step is necessary if configurations have been added or removed. 5. Install the CS3000/CS1000 software and electronic manual. 6. Windows configuration. To run CS3000/CS1000 on Windows, it is necessary to set up the network, username, and other information. When logging in with the “CENTUM” username, only system configuration is available, and the operation and monitoring functions of CS3000/CS1000 are not accessible. 7. Windows settings. In WINDOWS, the following information needs to be set: Computer name (station name). Please ensure that the computer name and station name are consistent. If the two are not consistent, it cannot be guaranteed that the CS3000/CS1000 systems will function correctly. Computer names are used to identify each computer in a Windows network. Using the Windows Control Panel, you can specify any computer name. The site name is a unique identifier specified in the CS3000/CS1000 system based on the control bus address. For example: HIS0164 (HISddss: “dd” is the domain number, and “ss” is the station number). IP address. This is the computer’s address, which can uniquely identify that computer via the control bus or Ethernet. Please ensure that the addresses for the control bus and Ethernet are specified in each subnet. For example: 172.16.1.64 (control bus) ； 172.17.1.64 (Ethernet). Note: Even if a control bus interface card is not installed, the control bus driver should still be installed before using the testing functions. If the extended testing function is used, make sure that the control bus addresses of each connected PC are unique. On the PC, the setting of the control bus adapter IP address should be the same as the control bus address in System View. For example: 172.16.dd.ss – the IP addresses of different PCs should be different. The domain number range is from 1 to 16. The station number range is from 1 to 64 (for CS3000) or from 1 to 24 (for CS1000). Subnet mask. On Ethernet, it, together with the IP address, specifies a subnet or computer. For example: 255.255.0.0 • When installing the CS3000/CS1000 systems in an existing environment, the existing settings of that network environment can be used. • When installing the CS3000/CS1000 system in a new local network environment, the default values provided by the IP address can be used. (IP address: 172.17.dd.ss, subnet mask: 255.255.0.0). • For the control bus, use the default IP address (IP address: 172.16.dd.ss, subnet mask: 255.255.0.0). Administrator password. This password is used for the PC administrator account, and it is the same as the “administrator” password in Windows. CS3000/CS1000 account and password. The following are the accounts for the CS3000/CS1000 systems: • Operation and monitoring function account CENTUM (fixed to the system). This account is generated automatically during installation. • System configuration account CENTUM (can be changed). After the system is installed, the account and password can be defined and chosen by the user. After the system is installed for the first time, the default password for the CS3000/CS1000 system is “CENTUM”. Note: • If the password used for equivalence must be changed, then all passwords in the same project should be changed to the same password. • The HIS Utility should be used, rather than the user management program, to change passwords. Convert the FAT file format to NTFS format. If the system partition is formatted in FAT format, it should be converted to NTFS format. The steps are as follows: 1. Right-click on the local disk icon in the Windows Explorer and open the Disk Properties window. 2. Select -- (--) to open the command prompt window. 3. Type the following command, and the system will convert the FAT format to NTFS format: CONVERT : /FS:NTFS Example: CONVERT C:/FS:NTFS Size of the virtual memory paging file. If system configuration is not used, the virtual memory should be at least 300MB; if system configuration is used, the virtual memory should be at least 400MB. 1. Log in as an administrator. 2. Set the virtual memory size. Open from the control panel – (–Execute). 3. Click “Change” (Modify). The Virtual Memory dialog box will appear. 4. Enter “Initial Size” and “Maximum Size”, then click “Set”. 5. Click “OK”. Printer settings. If you want to use the print output function in operation and monitoring tasks, you should set up the printer in Windows Control Panel. 8. Installation of the CS3000/CS1000 system software. (1) Confirmation tasks before installation. Perform the following steps before installation: ① Restart the PC before installing the CS3000/CS1000 software ； ②If virus protection or other programs resident in memory are running, exit them first. (2) Install the software. 1) After restarting the PC, log in with the administrator account. 2) Insert the Key-Code floppy disk into the drive. 3) Insert the CS3000/CS1000 disc into the CD-ROM drive. 4) Run the Windows browser and double-click “SETUP” in the “CENTUM” directory; a “Welcom” dialog box will then appear. 5) Click “NEXT” or press the “ENTER” key. 6) Select the target path for software installation. The default path is: “C:\CS3000” (for CS1000 systems it is “C:\CS1000”; you can use the “Browse” button to change it). 7) Click “next” or press the “Enter” key. A user registration dialog box appears. 8) Enter the username and organization name. 9) Click the button or key. A dialog box appears to enter the ID number. 10) Enter the ID number provided by the system. If it is a system upgrade, an ID number is not required. 11) Then click “next” or press the “Enter” key to display the list of installed software. 12) Click “next” or press the “Enter” key, and a dialog box will appear asking if there is another keycode floppy disk. 13) Click “no” or press the “Enter” key to display a list of software to be installed. 14) If an electronic document license is added to the keycode, a dialog box will appear advising you to use another disc (electronic manual). Follow the prompts to replace the disc, and an installation confirmation dialog box will appear on the screen. 15) Select “Yes” to start installing the electronic manual; this process takes about 10 minutes. 16) After installation is complete, a dialog box appears asking whether to proceed with the installation of CS3000/CS1000 as well. 17) If no further installation is required, click “No” or press the “Enter” key. If necessary, insert the CD into the CDROM drive and click “Yes”. 18) A confirmation dialog appears, asking whether to operate the keyboard. If necessary, select
