I don’t know which expert has conducted research in this area. The transportation of caustic soda is indeed not as simple as everyone imagines. We have been struggling for half a year, but then again, we are all laymen in the conveyor field here. Due to the characteristics of solid caustic soda, it absorbs water, deliquesces, is highly corrosive, and has extremely poor transportability after deliquescence. This requires the transport system to remain closed and maintain a positive pressure state.
Because the production and application of granulated alkali is a new technology in China (as far as I know, it is all done by foreigners), there are not many manufacturers involved, and there may be very few professionals who have specialized in this area. I hope that experts who have done this can provide valuable advice, mainly regarding conveying equipment, and it is best to provide some information on vibrating conveyors.
