Things are not easy these days; the economic crisis is getting worse and worse. It’s unclear whether the methanol market can recover
Based on the trends in economic development and oil price fluctuations, it is estimated that signs of improvement will not appear until the second half of next year.
The short-term outlook is not optimistic. The decline in international oil prices **weakenes the advantages of methanol.
Consider the price of methanol from a cost perspective, as well as the price of imported methanol based on China’s current methanol production capacity. I don’t think the price of methanol will remain high at around 2,000. Besides, methanol is harmful; it’s toxic and pollutes the environment. So why do people still produce it?
