But it is still unclear as to how its subsequent products will develop. The midstream industry refers to the production of various organic chemical raw materials such as vinyl chloride, styrene, and PTA, as well as the production of the three major synthetic materials (synthetic resins, synthetic fibers, and synthetic rubber). What is the current status of this industry? What impact will it have on the production and development of MTO? I hope all colleagues will engage in discussions, in order to provide a forward-looking basis for the development plans of the coal chemical industry chain or its products. PTA seems to be greatly affected by the economic crisis! Didn’t Samsung Chemical also halt production at one point?
This topic was marked with an asterisk in some places a couple of days ago; I’m not aware of the reason for this, and I apologize for it.
From the perspective of China’s economic development, the demand for fuel oil and the growth of ethylene are unbalanced, with fuel taking precedence. Therefore, the deficit of ethylene in our country will persist for a long time in the coming period. Personally, I think the sources of ethylene will diversify. As for downstream products, their development is bound to be good. The financial crisis may not be able to resolve the imbalance issue, so MTO has good prospects.
