Does anyone know the current prevalence of vanadium-based and cesium-based catalysts in sulfuric acid production both domestically and internationally? How widely are cesium-based catalysts used in China at present? Foreign cesium-based catalyst grades: VK-59, VK-69, SCX-2000, XCs-110, XCs-120. Who can add more information? And what are the domestic cesium-based catalyst grades?
Over 99% of those used domestically are vanadium catalysts; as for cesium catalysts, I have only heard of them and have never seen any. I wonder if Mengmoke Company has any information on this topic?
Abroad, there are cesium-vanadium catalysts available from Mengmoke Company, such as Cs-120, Cs-110, Cs-210, and SCX-2000; in China, Cs-120 and Cs-110 have been used. Topsoo Company has VK-58, VK-59, and VK-69; VK-59 and VK-69 have been used in China. BASF has 04-115, which has not been used in China.
Yours seems to be from Topsoe; Monsanto’s ones are LP-110 and LP-120
Foreign vanadium catalysts available from Mengmoke Company include the ring-type models LP-120, LP-110, LP-220, LP1150, and TD750, as well as the columnar types 210, 516, and 11. In China, the LP-120, LP-110, and LP-220 models have been used. Topsoo Company has VK-38 and VK-48; VK-38 and VK-48 have been used in China. BASF has models 04-110 and 04-111, which have not been used in China.
May I ask, are there any catalyst manufacturers in China that produce cesium catalysts on a commercial scale? Thank you
Several larger domestic manufacturers of vanadium catalysts claim to have cesium-containing vanadium catalyst products, but no evidence of their actual industrial performance has been seen. The market size for such cesium-containing vanadium catalysts in China is small; there are no more than 10 sulfuric acid plants using them, and all of those use catalysts imported from abroad.
I have a question for the guy upstairs: aside from Menomonee, Topsoe, and BASF abroad, are there any other manufacturers that produce cesium catalysts? Thank you!

You need to look at the mainstream options; you can’t risk using some obscure brands. Cesium catalysts are essentially high-end products, and their technology remains confidential!
Whitten has used the SCX-2000 and VK69. Cs-120 has been used in the three-ring. Yanggu Xiangguang Copper Industry has used VK59 and VK69……
BASF has a customer in Yunnan who must have used 04-110 and 04-111.
