I received a notification today stating that my company is introducing a paid leave system. With 20 years of service, I’m only allowed 10 days of leave, and I must request it in advance; there are multiple approval levels required, and I can only take the leave at the time approved for me. The time I arrange on my own doesn’t count. Let’s discuss this together
I’ve only been here for 5 days. I think no matter what company it is, vacations shouldn’t conflict with work – it’s the same everywhere, right? It’s fine to take time off; actually, not taking time off is also okay, as long as you have money!
We get about a month for family visits and annual leave each year; the company encourages employees to use up all of their leave. If you apply for it, your request is approved, but if it’s not approved, you have to be paid double. Still, even if the leave is approved, you still have to finish the work that needs to be done. During busy periods, managers ask you to sign a leave request form, even though you’re actually still working...... It’s so dark! !
Companies that offer annual leave are considered to be relatively proper ones; it’s normal for such leave to be approved!
I have 15 days of annual leave; I don’t need approval from my manager – I can just apply through the leave system. I still feel like I don’t get enough time off, and I dare not take too much during the New Year holiday.
We have 20 days of annual leave, but there is no annual leave available within the first year of joining the company
We don’t even have paid leave yet! It’s tragic
In our company, it’s 5 days. Last year I wanted to take time off, but my manager refused, saying we would all take time off together during the New Year holiday; yet in the end I still didn’t get any time off, and there was no compensation at all! ! :'(
Our company offers 7–8 days of annual leave, and one can take this leave for any reason. Usually, the managers approve it; it’s just that the procedures are a bit cumbersome, requiring various signatures. I’m taking one day of annual leave tomorrow o(∩_∩)o...
Wow~~20 years of service already~~That must be tough. We also get about a month’s worth of annual leave and home leave; if that time isn’t used up, it can be converted into compensatory time off, which can be used whenever needed, as long as the required tasks are completed
If I want to take time off whenever I want, there will be a deduction from my salary
Congratulations to the original poster~~ A classmate of mine has an indefinite extension to his vacation with no salary. It’s tragic
I haven’t started taking paid leave yet; I haven’t worked for a full year.
I don’t have any annual leave right now; I’ll get it after one year.
You can take leave however you want, but only for 5 days! ! !
You’re quite good to still be able to take time off; we never even mentioned it, haha
Some people get quite good time off. We have a six-day work week, and no matter how many years you’ve worked, you don’t get a single day off – it’s terrible
We also have 5 days! Sick leave doesn’t count!
Within 15 days, applications will all be approved.
That bit of fakery is still far inferior to what’s required to be a teacher! I heard that some people in Europe and America who sell goods on weekends also take holidays; I’m so envious!
Will our paid leave also have our performance-based salary for those days of leave deducted?
