I would appreciate it if experts could give some advice on this issue. Thank you. 1. With a flow rate of 5 m3/h, what size should the intermediate balance tank be? The main function of the balance tank is to act as a buffer during fluctuations. Generally, a margin is reserved based on the process requirements; for example, if a 1-hour margin is assumed, the volume required is 6 cubic meters. The tank mentioned earlier is a feed storage tank, and the amount of material stored in it depends on the design’s intended usage period as well as the source of the material – it could be enough for 1 day or for an even longer period.
