What is the approximate S content in the desulfurization system?
The high values are 2 grams, while the low values are less than 0.5 grams; this is closely related to the quality of the coal.

Do you mean the sulfur content in the desulfurization system in terms of suspended sulfur in the solution, or H2S in the gas? The H2S content in the gas is determined by the sulfur content of the coal used in the vaporization furnace; our plant uses low-sulfur coal. The H2S level at the inlet of the desulfurization system is around 700 mg/m3. As for the suspended sulfur in the solution, the lower it is, the better – and this is directly related to the desulfurizing agent used. Currently, the suspended sulfur level in our plant is around 2 g
The sulfur content removed from the gas should be 0.1 PPm. This is a basic requirement for the protection of copper-based catalysts. :victory:
Our coal is low-sulfur; the sulfur content in imported coal is around 0.10%, while no sulfur was detected in the exported coal! !
The lignite we use requires that the imported H2S level be below 700 mg for rough desulfurization, and the level at the exit should be below 50 mg

The sulfur content at the exit of the desulfurization process should be less than 0.2 ppm, as this helps to protect the catalyst. However, the sulfur content in the output stream needs to be determined based on the activity of the catalyst, as well as the requirements of the subsequent processing stages. High-sulfur coal can also be used in the new type of gasifier. :)
It probably refers to the suspended sulfur in the desulfurization liquid; standard regulations require it to be less than 0.5 grams per liter. However, in actual testing, it is difficult to measure suspended sulfur separately; instead, the degree of purification of the desulfurization liquid is determined by the content of suspended solids in it, with the standard value being 1 gram per liter.
