I would like to ask: In this sentence, “The control is subdivided into sequence control (controls the correct sequence of operation of the system) and individual control (assigned to each actuator, processes among other things reports and locks)”, what does the red-colored part mean? My understanding is that control is further divided into program control (the correct sequence of operations for the control system) and individual control (assigned to each actuator, as well as for process reporting and interlocks). It doesn’t make sense; I’d like to ask everyone for advice! THX!

I think ‘process’ here should be a noun, meaning a process or procedure!
